Anyways I slapped the tune on the truck it's excellent man. Didn't bounce of rev limit, works flawlessly. Little bit touchy on the pedal, I'll get used to that tho. Thanks for all your help. Took it for a 10 mile test drive. Completely different response. No surging like the EZ. Up shifting and down shifting different but very smooth. Boost pegs my gauge at 30 when I put my foot into it. Power seems to get progressively stronger. The exhaust even sounds different. Can't wait to try it towing. I leave on a trip to FL. in 2 weeks. Some Tuners are not all that they claim. Anyone who offers pre-programmed Duramax ECM's for 2006 and newer Duramax trucks is not programming them properly. These ECM's have built-in parameters that are specific to each engine, namely, the injector flow rates. We will only supply an ECM for these trucks if we can program correct injector flow-rate data.
We supply stock replacement and tuned ECM's for any generation of Duramax.
LMM Duramax diesel trucks are not known for good fuel economy. We have a proven tune that improves overall economy by about 10% without any exhaust system changes.
We do diesel tuning with a Chamber Pressure Monitor - A chamber pressure monitor is a special tool designed to log and monitor actual combustion pressures in a diesel engine. All of our tunes have been validated with this tool to be safe for your engine and head gaskets.
