The first step to getting higher performance out of a modern fuel-injected vehicle is to be able to access the tuning parameters inside the "brains," or the ECM. This allows tuning of the same things that were accessible in the old-days of carburetion and distributors; spark timing, fuel ratios and much more. The factory settings are not necessarily optimum! KEEP YOUR DURAMAX GRILLE CLEAR FOR THE SUMMERTIME! The Duramax intercooler needs to reject HUGE amounts of heat, up to 400,000 BTU/hr in summer towing conditions! Keep in mind that turbocharger outlet temperatures can get as high as 500-600 degrees Fahrenheit! Get that grille screen and winter grille insert off your trucks! It absolutely DESTROYS turbocharger efficiency, increases turbocharger drive pressure, reduces turbocharger reliability, fuel economy and overall horsepower when ANYTHING is stuck in your grille! I have seen turbocharger outlet temperatures up to 550 degrees Farenheit, YOU NEED AIRFLOW FOR THE INTERCOOLER! Effects on the 2001-2004 LB7 Dmax: Turbocharger wastegate self-limits to prevent damage as does the MAF and ECM programming. You will only loose power and economy on a 2001-2004 LB7 Dmax, primarily towing. Effects on the 2004-2005 LLY Dmax: You could hurt the turbo on this one, and there is a drastic reduction in power and economy, especially at higher altitudes. Also increases possiblility of an overheat. Effects on the 2006-current LBZ, LMM Dmax: there are safeties programmed in the ECM for this, you will loose huge fuel economy and power when towing and it will limit power, especially on hotter days.
Many updates are coming for the website. Sorry, I haven't been able to give the website much attention for the past few months, we have been busy! Our LMM diesel tuning is being received very well, have numerous customer testimonies as to how much better economy their trucks get, not to mention the additional power! The demand is such that we are having a hard timing keeping exhaust systems in stock. We have had customers come from as far as Lloydminister, SK and Slave Lake, AB to get this tuning installed. I have had phone calls from as far away as Florida, USA and Nova Scotia, Canada for LMM DPF delete tuning. I'm working on a way of getting a remote system for customers so that they do not have to send out their ECM's, but at this point the only way to get tuning done from long distances is to send your ECM here or drive your truck here.

2007-08 LMM Duramax: DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER (DPF, ALSO KNOWN AS THE "AFTERBURNER") CAN BE REMOVED! Owners of these trucks may be getting annoyed with all the "Reduced Engine Power" modes that come on when something goes slightly wrong with this system. Now you can install an aftermarket exhaust that eliminates the Diesel Particulate Filter. (This is of course for off-road use only.) Customers are reporting very significant mileage gains from our latest fuel economy tune with the DPF removed. And no hassles with cold-weather operation or going to the dealer to do a regeneration!
